Active Kids 2020 and Family Support Fund

Welcome back to scouts in 2020.

Scouts is back along with the Active Kids rebate! Like last year, families can claim two Active Kids vouchers per school aged child. However, this year both Active Kids vouchers redeemed with Scouts will go towards offsetting the price of the Scouts NSW membership fee, as well as the one-off joining fee for new members. The first voucher can be redeemed now, and the second voucher will be available to redeem beginning 1 July.

For clarity Term 1 member fees have already been invoiced to the Coffs Harbour Scout Group, therefore any applications from now until 31 March will apply to fees from Term 2 ($42), Term 3 ($42) and Term 4 ($16). This is not the case for new members who are billed retrospectively, so for new members you recieve $100 off joining fees. Also remember for those who need it the Family Support Fund is available to ensure there is no financial barrier to accessing scouting. Details about the fund are available on the Scouts NSW website. Talk to your section leader or contact  to discuss accessing the fund, all communications regarding accessing the Family Support Fund are confidential.
