Adult Helper - Overnight activities

From 1 January 2019 scouts are legislatively required to ensure every adult who attends an overnight camp has completed an A2 Adult Helper form and submitted this for processing by scouts NSW.

The form includes a Working With Children Check (WWCC) number. This is an important step in protecting our youth members. We strongly encourage all parents/guardians who have not already done so to complete the form now. Before doing so you will need a WWCC number, if you have one already, including for work, you can use your existing number or you can apply here.

Scouts NSW is serious about youth safety and if you do not complete the process in advance and arrive at any overnight event e.g. Cuborama or a group run camp, you will be turned away. Each camp will have procedures in place which may include not allowing adults who have not completed the form into the camp grounds for any period of time. Avoid disappointment for you and your child by completing the form today.
