Cubs Thursday 14/02 Coastal Hike

Hi Cubs,

We are off on a hike Thursday Night.

We will be meeting at the Charlesworth Bay Reserve, Bay Drive Charlesworth bay at 1800 hrs 6:00pm  (-30.267410, 153.138898), hiking along the Solitary Islands Coastal Walk to Park Beach Reserve (30°17'42.1"S 153°08'17.2"E) for some games in the Park

(Approximately 4 km in total)

Cubs need to be Collected at 2000 hrs 8:00pm from the Park Beach Reserve

Gear list;

• Day pack
• Snacks for hike
• Water Bottle at least 1 Litre
• Insect repellent
• Suitable enclosed hiking shoes/boots (we will be walking of tracks & Sand)
• Great attitude and a desire to have fun!!!
• Small Binoculars (optional)
• Small Camera (Optional)

Please wear your red group activity shirt

At this time of year the weather can be a little unpredictable, So please pack a rain coat if it looks like there might be rain.

There will be an update on the Blog if we have to cancel due to the bad weather. Please check he Blog at 1700 hrs Thursday for a cancellation notice. Alternate activity will be to meet at the Scout Hall.

If there this no cancellation notice on the Blog at 1700 hrs. The hike will take place.
