Joeys this week

The Joey scouts had a special visit this week from Lilliana's dad, Brett, who talked about the ANZACs and his time in the army.

 

Brett was a cub scout here in Coffs Harbour and he shared a picture of himself as a 9 year old with the other cubs of the day. The khaki uniforms were certainly to be pondered... or laughed about.

 

We also had a look at some different types of maps and tried drawing our very own 'mud map', which we have kept so we can look back later in scouting to see how we develop our skills.
