Cubs 27/10 ***Halloween Night***

Hi Cubs,

We are having a Spooky Halloween Night at the Hall on Thursday.

There will be loads of games and Weather permitting we will take a hike over to the cemetery for a really spooky time!!

Come dressed in your scariest/spookiest costumes.

Scouts - Challenge Cooking Night

Scouts this week will be a Cooking Challenge. You will have 90 minutes to plan, shop and prepare a 3 course meal for your Patrol and Leaders.

Here are the restrictions you have to work with,

  1. You will be allowed only the following cooking utensils
   
          - Cutlery, bowls and the fridge and freezer.
          - No Cooking equipment, this means all food must be either cooked when bought or able to be               used fresh.

  2. You will only have limited money to use. (Each Scout is to bring $10.00 with them)

  3. The longer you take planning and shopping the lest time you will have to prepare your meals.

  4. It must be reasonably healthy.

So start thinking on what will be a good option for this cooking challenge.

Remember to bring your $10.00, and some good ideas for this Challenge.

Joey Scouts - Halloween Bring A Mate Night

Hi Joey Scouts,

Just a reminder that this week is our Halloween themed Bring A Mate Night!

So grab a mate, wear a costume and prepare for one super fun night of games and activities!

Don't forget to let Kooka know if your Mate has any allergies or tolerances no later than Monday night!

Joey Scouts - Hop Into Joeys!

The Joey Scouts had a fun first night back - with a Hop Into Joeys theme!

We played lots of games including the Kangaroo Hokey Pokey.....

We made a Kangaroo Woggle and then tried to count the Kangaroos in the picture!

We welcomed new chum, Eden into our Mob, as well as Harry as our Venturer helper for the next two terms.

Joey Scouts return this week - 18th October!

Just a reminder that Joey Scouts starts back this Tuesday - 18th October!

This term will see us venture out of the hall canoeing, doing a special Christmas dinner along with a Xmas Lights tour, as well as lots of our usual games, craft and water night!

We are very lucky to have Harry from Venturer's joining us to help out, as part of his Queen Scout!

Pre Cuboree Camp - 11th - 13th November

For all those Cubs, Scouts and Leaders attending Cuboree in January, you need to attend the Pre Cuboree camp at Camp Eagle Eye on the 11th to 13th November.

This is a compulsory camp to get to know other Cubs going to Cuboree and learning what you need to take and what you will be doing.

Cost is $95.00 which includes your food and a Region Cuboree Tshirt.

Please register on the link below and pay money into Coffs Account by Friday 21st October.
