Bearskin camp closes Friday

 

Bearskin is just around the corner happening 26-27 August 2023. Applications close FRIDAY, so if you were nominated to attend, get registered today https://events.nsw.scouts.com.au/event/1058 

Please note that bases are for the YOUTH to run for the weekend. The adult leaders are there just to support the scouts.

What we need from you all is this: 

Your Best behaviour. Leadership is paramount and there will be plenty of opportunity to enhance these skills.

Own food. This is a self catered camp. Make sure you have all your own cooking and utensils. 
Tents can be shared and a buddy system will be in place. This is light weight camp. Swags are acceptable.
Camp mat, Sleeping bag, torch or headlamp, warm change of clothing, hat, sunscreen, mozzie protection, water bottle, chair, raincoat in case & anything else you want.
Full uniform for opening and closing Parade. (Scarf)!!!

We will be running the bridge base we did at scouts. It's meant to be fun and focus on their initiative and problem solving skills.

I suggest we meet at the scout hall on Friday afternoon 4:30pm and travel as a group and maybe arrange a car pool for drop of and pick up.
